After a series of delays, we are very happy to announce that Narratives in Malaysian Art Volume 3: Infrastructures and Naratif Seni Rupa Malaysia Jilid 3: Infrastruktur are in distribution and available at leading bookstores around Malaysia.
Volume 3 weighs in at 444 pages in the English edition and 512 pages in the BM edition, and retails at RM45. The volume's editors are Beverly Yong, Nur Hanim Khairuddin, Rahel Joseph and Tengku Sabri Ibrahim, with Yap Sau Bin and Rachel Ng.
We look forward to the official launch on 15 March at Segaris Art Centre, where we will also be launching the Malaysia Art Map published in conjunction with Volume 3.
We would like to thank our corporate supporter, sponsors and friends of the book who have made the project possible. Volume 3: Infrastructures/Jilid 3: Infrastruktur is really about the Malaysian art scene - how it has changed over the decades, what it looks like now, and how we may make things better as we move forward. Thank you to the many, many people who contributed to the content of Volume 3, as editors, writers, interviewers, interviewees, participants in the roundtables held, roundtable hosts, survey respondents, helpful fact-checkers, rapporteurs and assistants. We hope you will all enjoy the volume.
